A small press for good days
Golden Days Press is an independent publisher in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We make large-print activity books for seniors — and we give away printable activities to the families and activity professionals who use them.
Why we exist
Most "senior" activity materials fail in one of two ways: they're childish, or they're unusable — tiny type, cluttered pages, activities that assume abilities the day may not offer. We publish materials that respect adults: genuinely large print, one clear thing per page, and themes drawn from the years our readers remember best.
Our editorial standards
- We publish activities, not medical advice. Nothing on this site diagnoses, treats, or replaces professional care. Speech-practice materials are practice support to use alongside a speech-language pathologist.
- Everything is tested on paper. If a printable doesn't work at the kitchen table, it doesn't ship.
- Large print means large print. Body text in our books and printables is sized for aging eyes, and this site is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible — a typeface designed for readers with low vision.
- Dignity first. No clip-art condescension, no childish framing, ever.
The books
Our Remember When series offers decade-specific activity books — the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s — used at home and in memory-care communities.
